No winners in yesterday's auction for a valuable piece of county real estate.

Blair County Commissioners ended the sealed bid process on 2.58 acres of land located along Pleasant Valley Boulevard in front of Valley View Home at 2pm yesterday.

The county would not accept any bid less than 800-thousand dollars for the ground.

Commissioner Donna Gority says only two bids were received yesterday.

As a result of yesterdays auction the commissioners will officially reject both proposals at today's commissioners meeting. Gority says that will free them up to enter into an agreement with WE-O if they are interested in signing on or the Commissioners could negotiate a deal with someone else willing to meet all requirements.
